Little is known of the reclusive leader of the Circle of Arah. He has a reputation for both supernatural craftiness and bizarreness crossing into insanity. His origin may be as an experimental clone, probably from the genetic stock of the 'Thorne' clan.
He is rumored to sleep in a floating coffin, and speak only in hisses. The meaning of the term 'Doctor' usually appended to his (its?) name is unknown, but may be simply honorific.
